You are invited to our annual Thanksgiving celebration on
Saturday, November 23 at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. We

and music in celebration of God’s goodness. Come prepared
to lift up your voice to express your thankfulness to the Lord.
In addition to salad, breadsticks, and cheesecake, you have
your choice of Chicken Alfredo, Ziti with Red Sauce and beef,
or a vegetarian version of either of those options. A free-will
offering will be received to cover the cost of the meal. Please
sign up by November 10 at the Welcome Center, on Breeze,
or by contacting the church office.

Bible, clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, and money for three meals and
any extra spending. Permission slips are due Sunday, November 3. Contact
Pastor Matt for additional information.

LIBRARY NEWS
As the temperatures fall, it might be a good time to gather a book or two from
our church library to stimulate your thinking or even just to be entertained
for a bit. Check the top of the media chest to find the “new to our collection”
books, or just scan the shelves. Ask for recommendations if you are feeling
overwhelmed by the options. Come check out the possibilities!
THANKSGIVING OFFERING
During this Thanksgiving season, if you would like to express your gratitude
for God’s gracious and faithful provision in your life by giving a special gift
beyond your normal giving, you can use an offering envelope marked
“Thanksgiving Offering” or select the Thanksgiving Offering fund when
giving electronically.
These gifts will go towards hurricane relief through Baptists on Mission,
which exists to glorify God by involving churches and Christians in meeting
human needs in Jesus' name. They are serving as channels of God’s gracious
provision for the vast needs currently being experienced in 14 locations in
the mountains of western North Carolina.
