TRUNK OR TREAT
We are looking forward to a fun evening of costumes, candy, fellowship, and outreach on Saturday. October 26 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at our “Trunk or Treat” event. We will need your help with the following:

  • Be a trunk! Park your vehicle, open your “decorated” trunk (optional), and hand out your candy. (Please note that the church may be able to supplement your candy supply if necessary.) There will be a best trunk and best costume contest for those participating.
  • We need donations of candy or cash to purchase candy and prizes.
  • Visit the Welcome Center to drop off your donations and/or reserve your parking spot! Contact Bri Horning for more information.

PLANT A CHURCH TOGETHER (PACT) 2024
October at Calvary means it’s time for a special missions project that we call Plant A Church Together (PACT). This year’s project will help our long-time friends M & S to plant a church in Bangkok, Thailand that will reach out to the many Chinese immigrants living there. This past spring the Lord brought together a team of eleven brothers and sisters to pursue the formation of Bangna Gospel Church. God has provided a great space at a great location with a low cost of rent. However, that space needs renovation and equipment before they can meet there. They have started meeting in some temporary locations and hope to formally launch in the designated location with a fully functional church facility by March 2025. Our gifts can help them move toward that goal. If you would like to donate, please mark your offering envelope “PACT,” or if you use one of the electronic means to give, select the PACT fund. Be sure to pray for the Lord to build His Church and to be pleased to use this team of servants in the process.
